Using Electrolyte Gastro

Each sachet of ELECTROLYTE gastro contains (Medicinal Ingredients):

Sodium Chloride (from untreated brine) ………………………0.47 g
Sodium Acid Citrate ………………………………………………0.53 g
Potassium Chloride ………………………………………………0.30 g
Glucose(from corn syrup) …………………………………………3.56 g

Non-medicinal ingredients:
Saccharin Sodium, Orange or Tropical Fruit Flavour.

Directions: Should only be mixed with clean water.
Stir and dissolve 1 sachet in 200 mL of drinking water immediately after opening.

Indication: Oral administration for the management of mild or moderate diarrhea and correction of fluid and electrolyte loss in infants, children and adults.

General Dosage: The following dosage is a general guide. 

• For children under 2 years of age, consult a doctor before using ELECTROLYTE gastro. 
• Health care practitioners can give different regimens.  Should be given small, frequent and slowly administered amounts.
• Children 2 - 13 years: 100 mL/kg body weight per 24 hours.
• Adults:  150 - 200 mL/kg body weight per 24 hours.

Risk Information: For oral administration only. Contact a health care practitioner if diarrhea persist beyond 24 hours and if diarrhea is accompanied by a persistant fever.
